With Engine 51-1 And The 42, 52 & 57 Units Going To A Dwelling Call In Sadsbury Township The 51, 57 And 47 Had Crews In Station Made A Quick Response With LCWC Reported A House Stuck By Lightning With An Odor In The Basement. Engine 47-2 (Captain 47-2) W/7 And Rescue 47 (Lt. 47-2) W/7 Made The Response And While Responding Assistant 51 Held The Box To The 51 Units, The 47 House Cleared The Call @ 16:09.

The 42 Personnel Were Able To Get To The Vehicle On Foot And Assist Them Out Clearing The Boat From The Call. With All The Heavy Rain In The Gap Area Chief 42 Requested The Boats To Transfer To Station 42.

LED Lighting On Rescue 47 Is Completed

The Rescue LED Lighting Upgrade Was Completed In August By Nate Hammels From Hammel Installs http://www.hammelinstalls.com. We Want To Thank The State Officials That Support The Funding For the Opportunity To Apply For PEMA Grant Program. The Project Was Funded By The PEMA Grant Program And The Installs Was Done By Nate. Nate Was Able To Do The Install At The Station With Leaving The Rescue In Service Most Of The Days. The Lighting Upgrade Included LED Compartment Lighting, 12 Volt Side Scene Lighting, Rear LED Arrow Stick Lighting, Front Bar Light, Front 12 Volt Brow Light And Under Body Lighting. The LED Lighting Upgrade Made A Huge Difference In The Night Scene Safety As Well As Road Safety. Thanks to Nate For Doing an Outstanding Job To Work With The Department Representatives That were Involved In The Project.
