With Irene Scheduled to come along the coast & dump rain in Lancaster County the Paradise Fire Company prepared for the worst. Engine 4-7-2 (Captain 4-7-2) went to Bart Twp Fire Company station 5-1 (www.bart51.com) for a standby while they went west chester burn building for training.The crews back at the station were busy getting the boats lights installed on the boat & getting etc up to date. The lights & radio's were installed in the brush truck. The chain saws were worked on making sure they are in working condition. Meeting were held for shift planning & preparations. The crews ran several calls Saturday overnight that were contacted by phone as medical assist, tree & wires & public services. 1 call on Sunday night when the power returned for a CO Alarm & Company was canceled.
