Station 5 Was Working A Brush Fire In Paradise Township When County Sent out A Structure Fire Prealert On 33.72 And They Quickly Wrapped And Responded. Engine 47-2 (Assistant 47-2) W/6 And Rescue 47 (Captain 47-1) W/8 Made The Response. Engine 47-2 Laid 5" Supply Line On Martin Lane Starting At Reservoir Road To The Scene. After Arrival The Engine Crew Preformed Multiple Tasks As In Attacking The Fire From Exterior, Interior Search On 1st Floor Finding And Rescuing A Dog, Started Salvaging Tasks Covering Furniture And Personal Belongings With Salvage Tarps. The Rescue Crew Set Up RIT In The Front Yard. The Rescue Cleared The Scene @ 18:53 And The Engine @ 19:43. Thanks To Tanker 52-1 For Covering Our Station While We Were Out. A Special Thanks To The Ones Who Provided Pizza & Ice Cream At The Station As The Personnel Came back.

Deputy 47 Cooked Hamburgers & Hot Dogs On The Grill For Lunch And training Continued On 2nd Floor Scenario's. Station 89 Had 2 Brush Calls Back To Back And With The One Call North Of Their Station And The Other One West Of Their Station They Took The One West Of The Station And Redirected Engine 51-1 To 2499 Noble road. Brush 47 Arrived To Assist Engine 89-1 On The Scene With A Working Woods Fire. After Arrival Chief 47 Took Over On The Pump On Brush 47 And Assisted With Extending The Brush Lines. Brush 47 Had All The forestry Line & 21/2" Supply Line In Use. Engine 89-1, Engine 54-1 & Tanker 57 The Scene Until Being Released The Crew Was Invited To Stop At Station 89 For Refreshments.
