Chief 47 Arrived Reported A False Alarm And Cleared The Box Alarm. On Saturday Morning March 23 A Crew Went To Assist Gap Fire Company Sale. Our Crew Is To Standby There And If They Have Any Emergency Calls The Crew Will Run The Call On There Equipment, With Them Providing The Driver & Officer Along With Engine 45-2. In Am Hours Truck 42 Along With 2 From The 47 Personnel Made The Response To Assist 39 On A Unknown Type Fire And Were Recalled While Enroute. In The Afternoon Hours Station 42 & 45 Were Alerted For A Woods Fire. Chief 42, Rescue 42 & Engine 45-2 Made The Response. While The Chief Was Enroute He Received A Call From Kevin Kreider (51) That Its A Working Woods Fire. Chief 42 Requested Additional Units As Brush Units And Tankers. Chief 42 Arrived Assuming Command 42. Units On The Scene Were Rescue 42, Engine 45-2, Brush 52 & 47, Tankers 45, 52-2 & 51. This Was The First Mutial Aid Response For The Brush 47 Career. 03/21/2013 13:08:53 FIRE POLICE ROUTE 30 / LEACOCK RD PARADISE TOWNSHIP- Fire Police. Squad 47-2 (Fire Police) Made The Response. A Truck Had Lost part Of Its Load It Was Hauling. Units Cleared @ 13:21. 1988 Grumman Now Out Of Service. March 16 Crews Once Again Made Their Way To The Station In The Morning With Several Members Making Breakfast For The Crew That Were Assisting To Strip All The Equipment Off Of Engine 47-2. After Breakfast The Personnel Worked Together For Several Hours Taking All Equipment Off Of The Engine Getting It Ready To Sell. The 1988 Grumman Was Purchased As A Rescue/Engine As Engine 47-1. In 2004 It Was Put In Service As Engine 47-2 And Is being Sold. The Unit has Served The Paradise Community Well Well Over The Years. The Kinzer Fire Company Was Very Generous To Let Us Use Their International E-One Engine Till Our New Engine Is In put In Service, While They Are Using Squad 47-1 For Their Needs. On March 9 Paradise Was Serving Breakfast And Worked Concession Stand At The Park In The Afternoon. The Fire Police Were Assisting At Gordonville Sale. 03/07/2013 15:45:24 SPILL CONTROL3118 LINCOLN HWY E PARADISE TOWNSHIP-Rescue 47.
