Strasburg Fire Company (Station 5-10) Was Out On A MVA Called For Fire Police To Assist With Traffic Control. Squad 4-7-2 (Chief 4-7) Made The Response And Assisted 5-10 Personnel With Traffic Control Until Released By Command 5-10. On Thursday, Friday And Saturday Evening A Festival Was Held At Paradise Township Park For The Paradise 300th Anniversary Fundraiser. The Outback Crews Were Invited By Kinzer Fire Training Coordinator That They Are Doing A Walk Thru/ Fire & Rescue Pre Planning At Hess Mills Which Is Part Of Purina Chows. The Kinzer, Gap & Paradise Fire Company Personnel Met With Hessmills Employee Amos Fisher For The Tour. Truck 4-2 Set Up To Check If They Can Reach The 90' Elevator And Were Able To Raise Past With Their Tip, To See If It Could Be Used Safely For Rescue. It Was A Very Educational Evening, But Hopefully We Will Never Be Needed There.

Chief 4-7-2 (Duty Chief) Responded LCWC Advised Vehicle Hit A pole Then Overturned With Occupants Still In The Vehicle. Chief 4-7-2 Arrived Several Minutes Later Confirming A Vehicle Overturned, Rt. 30 In Completely Blocked By A Utility Pole, Out Investigating. Rescue 4-7 (Captain 4-7-3) w/7 Arrived Stabilized The Vehicle And Worked With EMS To Extricate The Patient. Rescue 4-8 Arrived And Assisted 4-7 Personnel With Extrication. Mutual Aid Fire Police Assisted 4-7 Fire Police For Several Hours With Traffic Control. Deputy 4-7 Arrived And Was Advised By Duty Chief That He Is Committed On The Scene To Establish Command 4-7. All Units Cleared The Scene @ 15:00. Thanks To All Mutual Aid Units For Your Assistance.

The Crews Depowered The Vehicle And Cleaned Up The Roadway Units Cleared @ 4:01.
06/02/2012 14:40:05 LANDING ZONE 115 BLACK HORSE RD PARADISE TOWNSHIP-Rescue 4-7. Rescue 4-7 (Chief 4-7-3) W/6 Made The Response For A Landing Zone For Air Medical That Was Requested By Medic 6-12-10 Officer For A Burn Victim To Be Transported To A Burn Center. Deputy 4-7 Arrived And Established Landing Zone Officer. The Rescue Arrived And The Crew Set Up A 100' x 100" Area With Cones And Waited For Arrival Of Trooper 1. Upon Arrival Trooper 1 Landed On The Blacktop Driveway For A Hard Surface Landing Pad. The EMS And Part Of The Rescue Crew Assisted Loading The Patient.The Patient Was Flown To John Hopkins Hospital. The Outback Company Cleared The Scene @ 15:37.
