There Are Many Thing's That Volunteer's Do At Fire Stations That Many Of Their Community Does Not See. I Will Give A Few Example's As Maintenance On Fire Apparatus And Fire Equipment To Keep It Ready To Operate 24/7/365 Days A Year, Mowing The Yard At The Station (Sometimes With Their Personal Mowers), Training Classes And In House Training, Engine Committee Meetings, Training Committee Meeting, Grant Committee Meetings, Regular Monthly Meeting's, Dinner Committee Meeting's, Bingo Committee Meeting's. Then We Have Fundraisers As Weekly Bingo's And Concession Stand At The Park, Annual Beef Dinner's, Breakfast's, Flea Market's & BBQ's, Pig Roast Meals To Serve. We Are An All Volunteer Fire Department With No Paid Staff. Many Of These Hours Are Spent Away From Their Families At Home And Work Hours That Are Sacrificed To Volunteer At The Fire Station.
