Its Impressive Rescue Equipment Includes Pre-Connected Amkus & Portable Holmatro Hydraulic Extrication Tools, High Pressure Air Bags, Air Powered Tools, Cribbing, A Portable Winch With Multiple Receiver Positions, Electric Cord Reels, A Mini-Fridge For Rehab Supplies, Multiple Rotary & Chain Saws, A PPV Fan, BLS Level EMS First Aid Bags, Water Rescue Equipment, Spare SCBA Cylinders, RIT Pack & Engine Company Equipment. Operating As A Rescue/Engine, This Unit Provides Mutual Aid Support To Numerous Surrounding Departments As It Is One Of Three Rescues Within Lancaster County Zone 4. It Is The First Responding Unit For Vehicle Accidents, Co Alarms & Gas Leak Calls.

This Unit Was Put Together By 47 Personnel With Items Being Donated & A DCNR Grant We Were Able To Make It Happen. Starting With The Pickup Truck Being Donated Along with One Of Our Personnel Picking A Flatbed To Put On It. The Body Work & Paintwork Was Donated By Scholars That Were Learning The Trade. The Tank, Front Bumper, Bed Modifications & Plumbing Were Donated By A Local Businesses. The Emergency Lighting, Siren & Radio Were Used In Our Past Units That Were Found Around The Station That Were No Longer Being Used. Ronks Fire Company Donated Their Old Rescue Lighting That Were Used For Taillights & Etc. Kinzer Fire Company Donated Their Older 2 1/2" Hose Being Used For Supply Line. The Forestry Hose, Rakes, Pumps, Nozzles, Leaf Blower And Chain Saws Were Purchased With A DCNR Grant.

The Light Tower Trailer Was Purchased Thru The PEMA Grant Program. It Is Used During Power Outages And Fire Police Incidents As Well As Used OUTBACK Where It Is Difficult To Get The Fire Equipment To.
